Development History

CJ Foods Vietnam's development journey through milestones

2013

CJ CheilJedang has partnered with Sumitomo Corporation Group and Chiba Flour Milling Company Limited to establish CJ-SC Global Milling LLC.

2014

Construction began on a 20-hectare flour mill in the My Xuan B1 - Tien Hung Industrial Park, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province (now Phu My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). By June 2015, the mill was fully operational.

2016 - 2017

Executed acquisitions of Mr. Kim's, Cau Tre, and Minh Dat, expanding the product portfolio.

05/2018

CJ completes acquisition of 100%, a subsidiary of CJ SC, strengthening its position in the Vietnamese market.

10/2018

Inauguration and commencement of operations at Hiep Phuoc Factory.

05/2019

Following the merger of Mr. Kim's, Cau Tre, and Minh Dat, CJ Foods Vietnam officially established.

2019

Expanding the Vung Tau factory, establishing the Sugarmix Factory.

2021

Kizuna Factory inauguration.

02/2022

The entire production line from the Hiep Phuoc Factory has been transferred to the Kizuna Factory, marking a new phase of development for CJ Foods Vietnam.
