Ingredients


  • 100g Premixed Mochi Cake Bicycle
  • 130g warm water
  • 12g Oil
  • 45g Maltose

How to make


Step 1
Stir the maltose, warm water, and oil together until dissolved. Add the mochi flour, stir evenly until all ingredients are uniform, strain through a sieve, cover tightly, and prepare to cook in two ways.

Step 2: Cook
Method 1: Place in the microwave and cook for 3-5 minutes on medium heat (700W). Remove from the microwave, stir the mixture well, cover tightly, and let it sit for another 5-7 minutes before shaping.
Method 2: Steam the batter for 30 minutes over medium heat, until the batter turns translucent and no longer sticks to your hands.

Step 3:
Use a little cornstarch/potato starch to prevent sticking when shaping. The ratio of dough to filling is 1:1.5 (adjust to your preference).
Place in a sealed container and store in a cool place.
